Předpokládá se, že do něho mohou zasáhnout pušky CAR 816 od společnosti Caracal, RS556 od Rheinmetall - Steyr-Manlliher, verze zbraně M4 od firmy Schmeisser, Tavor X95 od izraelské společnosti IWI, kanadská Diemaco C8SFW, americká LWRCI M6-G, švýcarské zbraně SIG MCX, APC556 a SG 553 v nabídce firem SIG-Sauer, B&T a Swiss Arms, puška F90 od Thales, ARX-160 od firmy Beretta, Bren 2 od české CZUB, FN SCAR-L od belgické FN Herstal, nebo polská Radom MSBS.

Favorizovanou firmou v očekávaném souboji je však zbrojovka Heckler & Koch, která hodlá pravděpodobně nasadit pušku HK433.
