Modernizace ruských tanků T-80BV

Ruské ministerstvo obrany nechá v rozporu s dřívějšími plány zmodernizovat tanky T-80BV. Tanky obdrží nový systém řízení palby a zdokonalenou pancéřovou ochranu. Budou provedeny též úpravy na pohonném systému tanků vedoucí ke snížení spotřeby paliva a zvýšení spolehlivosti. První zmodernizované tanky T-80BV se dostanou k jednotkám v roce 2017.

Tanky T-80BV vybavené spalovací turbínou (GTD) se dobře hodí pro provoz ve velmi náročných klimatických podmínkách arktických oblastí, Sibiře a Dálného východu. V modernizované podobě budou vybaveny novým generátorem, modernějšími bateriemi a novým startovacím systémem turbíny. Osádka bude moci při bojové činnosti spoléhat na systém řízení palby Sosna-U s přístroji s termovizními kanály, vysoce přesnými laserovými dálkoměry a systémy automatického sledování cílů. Ochrana bude zesílena instalací nejmodernějších bloků dynamické ochrany.

V současné době má ruská armáda ve skladech kolem tří tisíc tanků T-80BV. Kolich jich bude zmodernizováno a zařazeno k jednotkám nebylo zatím upřesněno. Ve výzbroji tankových pluků 4. gardové tankové divize se nachází kolem dvou stovek tanků T-80U. Militarybox, CC BY-SA
